Jay is a duly Licensed "Minister of the Gospel" from First Christian Church International in Whittier, CA. [Dunamis Veritas] Spirit & Truth Ministries. Jay is able to perform baptisms, burials, and other forms of religious worship and sacerdotal functions.
Jay is often called upon to cover the teaching on Wednesday nights at the Rock House. Jay's faithful and sacrificial willingness to pour into the body of Christ when called upon to do so, is a testimony to his love for God's children.

The photo's below are the August 2024 Mission Trip, La Misión or Misión de San Miguel is a village in Baja California.
Jay has defined his life in the service of God's saints here in his own backyard. Jay has too many stories to count, but all have been a faithful representation of God's love to a lost world. Jay has faithfully served and continues to serve in many churches and groups across southern California and has always made himself available as God leads.
Jay's ability to minister to the Spanish speaking children of God has opened many doors for him to travel abroad on many missions. Jay's heart to reach God's children with an encouraging message of hope has touched many in the body of Christ. Jay is a welcome addition to any missions trip abroad.

Christ is a friend of mine, his spirit, my adviser, and support in hard times. I didn't always know this, but looking back, feel it was always so, acknowledged or not.
I stumbled or was led to the Publisher of Watchman Nee. I read, then researched, then wondered aloud why we here so few sermons about the Holy Spirit, Christ's first gift to mankind that we so often ignore.
I am a student of literature, and so am struck by the title sometimes given to the bible as “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” It is so much easier to read as an unfolding story, the story of God for men and women, than a bundle of 66 separate books we somehow have to meld together for the complete message.
On a personal level, I believe in healthy families and am blessed with one, my wife of 50 years, three daughters, a son, and seven grandchildren to date. We all live in or near Orange County, CA. I came here for a good job teaching in the computer industry and stayed. My wife led me to Jesus, teaches art, and paints large oils depicting the Holy Spirit.
We are a fortunate family, led by the Holy Spirit, and protected by God. There are problems, of course, some much worse than others, as we struggle to remember that God has His Plan, and our desires don't always allow us to see it.
Prayer is communion with God. It is a continuous process in which the human spirit, indwelt by the Spirit of God, is in continuous interaction with Him.
Even if the local church turned you off, reading the Bible can be rewarding
