The New Testament Book of Acts

Saints of God:

Starting September 13, 2023 and ending on July 31, 2024, we taught through the New Testament Book of Acts.

The Book of Acts Theme

Acts is unique among the NT writings, in that its main purpose is to record a selective history of the early church following the resurrection of Christ. It is the second part of a two-volume work, with the Gospel of Luke being the first volume. Both books are dedicated to a person named Theophilus, and Acts 1:1 explicitly refers back to Luke’s Gospel.

The Gospel of John Theme

The Gospel of John teaches us who the person of Jesus is and that Jesus is the promised Messiah and Son of God. By believing in Jesus, people can have eternal life.
